Blake Shelton Hits Stage with Song About Miranda Lambert While You Know Who is Sitting in Audience

At last night’s Academy of Country Music Awards, Blake Shelton walked the carpet sans girlfriend Gwen Stefani.

Meanwhile, ex-wife Miranda Lambert was escorted by her new beau, Anderson East, for the first time ever, E! New reports.

There weren’t reports of an awkward run-in between the exes, but Blake Shelton did take the stage to perform his newest single, “Came Here To Forget,” a song reportedly written about both Miranda and Gwen, while Miranda sat in the audience.

USA Today reports that the song is allegedly about his break-up with Miranda and how his new relationship with Gwen help him get over it.

However, if Blake’s performance affected Miranda at all, she sure didn’t let it show while rocking the stage with ZZ Top and Keith Urban.

Blake eventually reunited with Gwen at an after party later that night.

And as a source tells E! News, Miranda couldn’t be happier for him.

“She is in a totally different space than [she was] months ago,” says the source. “She has no issues with Blake and is happy that he is in a good place in his life and also in love.”
